did she just do what i think she just did?!

anya.rolled.onto.her.stomach! omg! i kid you not. yesterday afternoon i was busy making dinner for a guest we had coming over and since i needed both my hands to cook i put anya down on her activity gym. now i've written once before that anya LOVES her activity gym! no joke, she can spend a whole lotta time on that thing...so, i layed her down on her back and walked away. luckily for me isabela is my little monitor so she looks after her when i'm not around. any kind of anything goes on over there and isabela lets me know by a "oh no" or "ana"! seriously, such a BIG helper to her momma :)
anyway, jaccob was in the kitchen getting isabela some juice and the phone rang so i walked over to where the phone was, incidentally where the activity gym is, and the next thing i see is anya laying on her stomach with one of her arms beneath her (that pesky little arm that got trapped under her when she rolled over)!!!! i couldn't believe it! i asked jaccob if he had turned her over (just to make sure) and he said no. i mean i was sooooo excited that after her many failed attempts and countless times on her sides, my baby girl had finally rolled over onto her stomach...and I DIDN'T EVEN SEE HER DO IT! Ahhhhh!!!! come on now!!! i totally missed it. i mean, yay for her, but boo for me :(
just a little over 4 months and my little one has conquered this unbelievable feat. makes me sad how fast time flies...
if anything, you can be certain that the next time she does it i will have the camera ready in hand to get it on video! i can't wait to actually see her do it. i never experienced this with isabela because she never spent time on the activity gym, much less any time on her back really. she just absolutely hated being on her stomach or back, she was the sitting up kind of baby. so yeah, you can imagine how excited i am to witness such a milestone for my little anya.
next thing you know she's going to start crawling!!! am i ready for two mobile children?...i think not! haha :)
please help me out.
i don't think i'm anywhere near ready for THAT challenge just yet.
please let me hold onto my sanity for a little while longer!
and my hair too! haha!
thanks,
isabela and anya's mommy
