so one of my new things to do with isabela is arts & crafts. i follow a lot of blogs and i'm constantly inspired by others to do some artsy stuff :) one thing i would absolutely LOVE to learn is how to use a sewing machine!!! so many people make some a-ma-zing stuff like aprons, dresses, costumes, etc. and i'm jealous that i can't try them out for myself. one of these days though, i'm going to make it a point to learn (i just happen to already have the sewing machine, it was my great grandmother lillians). anyway, back to the arts & crafts...
i went to michaels some weeks ago and bought a good assortment of items for isabela and i to play with and i must say that we have had a lot of fun!!! i've gotten some ideas from isabela's "school" and some off the internet and believe me the possibilities are endless! i know it's already november, but i just had to post these pictures of isabela (and anya) making some halloween and fall masterpieces :) aren't they awesome?!?!

Awwwww, that looks like so much fun!! I don't think Aidan could sit still long enough to do an art project lol. And I second learning how to use a sewing machine! I would LOVE to figure out how to make costumes and clothes.
