diaper free anya!

*ahem..."a little over a week" has now turned into over three weeks ago. haha! sorry for the delay!*


it's been a little over a week since i potty trained anya and i must say that she's doing pretty dang good! i decided to try the same three day potty training method i used with isabela...i highly recommend it! it 'clicked' for anya more on the 3rd day than any of the other days, and even with a handful of accidents, she is getting the hang of it :) we had a rough two days this past week, with the majority of the accidents happening on those days, but i think we are in the clear now! i mean, she hasn't even had any accidents at night! no diapers and no pull-ups. nothing. she goes potty before bed and it's smooth sailing until the morning, when she comes into my room and tells me she needs to go! did i mention it's so nice not having to deal with diapers?!


i'm still using the chart and stickers i used to potty train her, because she just loves jumping up and down, clapping her hands, and yelling, "yay!" every time she goes pee pee or poo poo in the potty and running into the kitchen so i can give her a sticker :) oh and she loves getting her little gummy snacks too! how can i refuse?


isabela is a big help too and she let's me know if anya needs to go potty or if she's had in accident (which hasn't been in some days now). i don't know how i'd do it without her! she seems to show just as much excitement when anya goes in the potty as i do, which i know is another reason why anya is doing so well. whatever the reason, i'm glad that she's potty trained and being such a BIG girl! i'm so proud of her and i don't mind telling her that every once in awhile!
