a way to document my life.

8.2.2012

i have decided one thing. it's something i should have decided on long ago, and unfortunately has kept me from blogging on my blog (i always seemed to get down on myself or sad that nobody was following me or commenting on any of my posts, and that in turn was making me not want to post anything), soooo, from this moment on, i am going to write posts on my blog solely for me. a sort of diary if you will. i have come to the conclusion that nobody reads my blog posts and/or doesn't care for it. so with that 'said', i am no longer going to write for anybody else's amusement, but my own. i'm going to post on my blog as a way to document my life, my daughters, and anything and everything that goes on in a daily basis; so that days, weeks, months or years from now i will be able to look back and read over and over again the experiences that have made up our lives together...i want to remember the silly things my kids say and do, the way they look month after month, and what we used to do and where we used to go. i don't want to miss a thing. especially not anything having to do with my girls. i want to remember them exactly the way they are today, tomorrow, and every day after that :)

*side note- for those of you who actually do read this blog, i mean no disrespect. i appreciate you following me, but you are all so few and far between, that i really just don't give a crap any more. keep following me if you want, and if you don't then don't.

once upon a time...

i started this blog as a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. we moved to guam right after our wedding, so i needed a creative medium in which to share our new life together as newlyweds. as our lives began to change so did our family dynamic! our first addition to the family was our furry baby, kensy, an adorable german shepherd. then our greatest dreams came true when God blessed us with our daughters isabela and anya. almost 7 years later this blog now chronicles our lives as parents and also our kid's lives in both stories and pictures.
