Easter 2012!
4.8.2012
easter in the kologinczak household was very chill this year :) we got the girls dressed and ready for a nice sunday mass in their matching easter dresses and even ran into jaccob's cousin brandon and his new bride stefanie at church!
we made our way home and by the time we got there, anya had fallen asleep in the car and so she went down for a nap. the rest of us just relaxed and hung around the house. eventually our little napster woke up and it was time to go on an easter egg hunt!!!
since our backyard is still a work in progress, i decided to go 'hide' some candy chocolate filled eggs around our neighborhood playground. jaccob drove the girls over with their matching disney princesses easter "baskets" and they went for it! it was so cute to see them so excited about finding their eggs and it was the most precious thing to hear anya repeating, "eggs. eggs, eggs!" haha! she was definitely one happy little girl :)
they were so anxious to get a hold of their candy that they started to unwrap them...well, the chocolate had MELTED and got all over their hands! they still got to enjoy one piece each and eventually all the eggs made their way into the freezer so they could chill out a little bit ;) it did make for some really funny pics though!
anya's face when she saw the chocolate had melted! haha!
after they were finished i took some pictures of them outside and continued our little photo shoot inside.
did i mention how absolutely adorable they looked in their matching dresses?! isabela, of course, was the picture perfect model and i was blown away at how much of a natural she is in front of the camera ;) i guess it's because she has a grandfather who is a professional photographer. wouldn't you agree? lol! anya, on the other hand, was not having it after a while and well, you can plainly see that as the pictures progress. hehe.
so there you have it! fun was had by all and the important thing is is that we got to spend easter together as a family and rejoice in the company of one another. the girls both looked so beautiful and just to see them smile on such a wonderful day was the highlight of mine!
