10 things i've realized about being a mom

4.24.2010

10. my girls make me smile no matter what :)

9. once you have kids, all your conversations seem to be centered around them (whether you want them to or not!)...i don't even remember what i used to talk about with my friends before i had them ;)

8. it's true what they say- the love you have for your spouse is true, but the love for your kids is unconditional.

7. my daughters are truly the best part of me.

6. i appreciate my mom even more now than i did before, because now i know what it's like to be in her shoes!

5. i understand now what my mom was talking about when she said, "wait until you have your own kids. you'll understand that there is nothing they can do or say that will make you love them any less." now i know how that's possible.

4. i catch myself looking at them in complete awe from time to time. even now with two daughters i STILL can't believe i'm a mom :)

3. my girls are the reason for my being and i would give my life for them in a heartbeat.

2. i love them more than myself!

1. from the moment i first gave birth to isabela, my life was never the same again. God blessed me by letting me be a mother (<--i wouldn't change that for anything in the world), and i wouldn't have it any other way! i will thank God for them every single day of my life.

once upon a time...

i started this blog as a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. we moved to guam right after our wedding, so i needed a creative medium in which to share our new life together as newlyweds. as our lives began to change so did our family dynamic! our first addition to the family was our furry baby, kensy, an adorable german shepherd. then our greatest dreams came true when God blessed us with our daughters isabela and anya. almost 7 years later this blog now chronicles our lives as parents and also our kid's lives in both stories and pictures.
