it's moments like these...
moments with my daughter isabela that make me truly thankful for what i have in my life. anybody that knows her, knows how special she is to me. my daughters are my world.
so recently i have been disappointed with certain people in my life and i've come to realize that as unfortunate as it may be, not everyone gives what they receive. sadly it's a hard fact i've had to deal with many times in my 28 years of life.
it's for this reason, especially during this time of year, that it's important that we remember what this season is all about...family. there is nothing in this world more important. people will come and go, but it's your family who will always be by your side. i know that i am extremely blessed to have such a wonderful family and i will be forever grateful with God for all of them.
p.s. this in no way reflects on how i feel about all my friends, so please don't take it the wrong way. it's just a little bit of enlightenment i've had in recent days. a side effect of pregnancy i guess ;) my true friends know who they are!
