deck the halls!

it's the most wonderful time of the year! december is finally here and i'm loving every second of it!!! besides decorating the house, putting up the christmas tree, singing along to christmas songs like, "rudolph the red nose reindeer", sipping on hot cocoa, and celebrating the birth of Jesus, i love feeling like a kid again :) i'm even more excited to celebrate christmas this year because isabela is a year older and can actually appreciate the season, even if it's just loving all the lights and decorations! her favorite thing is admiring the ornaments on the christmas tree...she's pretty amazed by them! she's tried to grab them once or twice, but after a very stern, "No" she's pretty much stopped any physical contact with them! haha! i can't wait for christmas day to get here so she can open her presents from santa ;) HO HO HO!!!!!

Yay for Christmas decorations! I love your snowmen! (I love all things snowflakes and snowmen!) Your girl sure looks like a doll! She is smiling for the camera again, eh? See! I knew she'd come around! :-)

once upon a time...

i started this blog as a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. we moved to guam right after our wedding, so i needed a creative medium in which to share our new life together as newlyweds. as our lives began to change so did our family dynamic! our first addition to the family was our furry baby, kensy, an adorable german shepherd. then our greatest dreams came true when God blessed us with our daughters isabela and anya. almost 7 years later this blog now chronicles our lives as parents and also our kid's lives in both stories and pictures.
