and the verdict is...

more than three days ago isabela developed a fever and it fluctuated like crazy. it would go from 99.6 degrees and then it would go sky high, way up to 103.5 degrees. i felt like i was going crazy because there was nothing i could do for her except give her baby tylenol every four hours. she couldn't sleep or eat like she normally did and she spent a lot of the time crying and just wanting to be held. finally this morning i said enough is enough. i made her an appointment to go see a pediatrician here at lackland a.f.b. it turns out that she almost has a full blown ear infection in her left ear. he prescribed her amoxicillin for the next ten days but he said we should see an improvement in three to four days. let's keep our fingers crossed! hopefully she will be a lot better by the time we have to fly back to virginia on wednesday. please keep on praying for my baby bela!
