yay for books!

a weekend or two ago it was really cold and rainy outside but we wanted to get isabela out of the house so we decided on going to the macarthur center mall in downtown norfolk.

after isabela played in the kids corner for awhile we headed on over to barnes and noble so jaccob could check out some books. i wanted to buy anya's baby book anyway so it worked out pretty good. i bought some starbucks and sat down with isabela on the couches while we waited for daddy to meet up with us.

i gave isabela a book that came with her chick-fil-a kid's meal and she had a total blast! i took some pictures of her so you could see how much fun she was having!

once upon a time...

i started this blog as a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. we moved to guam right after our wedding, so i needed a creative medium in which to share our new life together as newlyweds. as our lives began to change so did our family dynamic! our first addition to the family was our furry baby, kensy, an adorable german shepherd. then our greatest dreams came true when God blessed us with our daughters isabela and anya. almost 7 years later this blog now chronicles our lives as parents and also our kid's lives in both stories and pictures.
