i'll look back on these days...

and remember when you were mommy's little girl. i look at you and i just can't help but smile every time. you are so precious to me and i thank God for your sweet nature. i see you with anya and you couldn't be any more caring and loving towards her. just the other night when i was trying to put anya down for the night you were in the room with me while i fed her and you knew to be as quiet as a mouse. you made sure not to make any noise and every little thing i did to soothe her to sleep you did just like me :) as i swayed from side to side to rock her to sleep you started swaying too. you looked so cute doing it. i started smiling at you and you grinned from ear to ear so wide i thought that your face was going to get stuck like that, haha! you amaze me so much with how smart you are and how receptive you are to what's going on around you. one of your favorite things to do is help me "shush" her to sleep and you are so gentle in patting her back that it makes my heart melt!

thank you for being so sweet and for helping me out any chance you get. you are a wonderful daughter, an amazing big sister, and i couldn't be any more prouder of you!!! i love you so much my sweet girl...please don't ever change. words can't express how blessed i am to have you (and of course anya!) in my life. i love you with all my heart, more than i ever thought i could love anyone. may God continue to look after you, guide you, and love you, always and forever.

love,

momma

once upon a time...

i started this blog as a way of keeping in touch with family and friends. we moved to guam right after our wedding, so i needed a creative medium in which to share our new life together as newlyweds. as our lives began to change so did our family dynamic! our first addition to the family was our furry baby, kensy, an adorable german shepherd. then our greatest dreams came true when God blessed us with our daughters isabela and anya. almost 7 years later this blog now chronicles our lives as parents and also our kid's lives in both stories and pictures.
