happy mother's day to all the mommies (and mommies-to-be) out there!!! what a happy and joyous occasion today is :) i'm thrilled to be celebrating my 3rd mother's day and even more thankful to be celebrating it with my two sweet girls, isabela and anya. i can't begin to express how lucky and blessed i am to be the mother of these two very special girls. they are everything to me. they are my entire world.
seeing as how today is the day to celebrate and honor mothers all over the world, i wanted to dedicate this post to the one woman who has made me the woman i am today, and more importantly, the mother i am today...my mom.
what can i say about my mom? she is THE sweetest, most caring and loving mother in the whole world!!! she has always been a role model to me, and the greatest inspiration of my life. she is selfless, compassionate, patient, forgiving, honest, funny, wise, and slow to anger. she has always been there whenever i've needed her and i know i will always have her to turn to for whatever i need. now that i am a mother i can only hope and pray that i will be the same kind of mother my kids can be proud of.
the years in between
seem to get smaller
and smaller.
it's not like a parent
and child anymore.
the gap closes, and it
becomes a friendship."
